Join educator and mindfulness practitioner, Trudi Collier for a workshop for BSL users, exploring the health benefits of mindfulness and how it can improve mental wellbeing. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the Portrait Gallery and explore the connections between mindfulness and art, how contemplating artworks can offer an escape from the pressure of modern living by providing a space within which to reflect.

Trudi is a freelance Deaf tour guide at the National Galleries of Scotland. She has a background in education, is an MBACP Accredited Psychological Therapist/Counsellor and has been working with Deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, disabled and deafblind people for over 20 years.
