The National Library of Scotland is the world’s leading centre for the study of Scotland and the Scots. They are a major European research library, with collections of world-class importance.

A changing programme of exhibitions presents work from across the collections with regular talks related to exhibitions and literary events.  The library hosts regular author talks and poetry evening. Exhibitions and most events are free. The library offers regular descriptive events, handling sessions and amplified tours led by education staff and exhibition curators.

Artlink are currently working with the library and poet Ken Cockburn creating a descriptive tour informed by fiction.
